| Jeffrey the cat |
Hola!
Things I learned this week
1. Dog's are meaner in packs
2. Iguanas run frighteningly fast
3. I'm not a fan of turtle eggs
4. I miss Jeffrey:(
5. (Most important) The gospel is the best thing ever! I already knew this but it gets reinforced every week!

Ok ok you might have some questions about some of the things I learned this week so let me explain.
First off this week was great! I'm starting to feel a lot more confident with being a missionary, Spanish, and living in Mexico so that is awesome! I'm starting to feel a lot more like myself! But that is all thanks to the Lord, I could not do this without him. Something I love about the gospel is that the Savior is not at the Finish line waiting for us. He is with us every step of the way, walking with us, weeping with us, and laughing with us. He is our Savior and Redeemer and I know this with all of my heart. Jesus is the Christ.
Ok so, we found a shortcut to our house but we have to walk through an old abandoned soccer field in the middle of the night. So it's a little sketchy

We've seen some rather strange things in the field so we have now made the call not to use it anymore

But one night we were walking through and a gang of 7 dogs came at us. Luckily the trick here in Oaxaca is if you act like your about to pick up a rock the dogs get scared and run off. So everything was all good.

But if I ran into a gang of iguanas not sure what I would do. I saw one the other day and it ran super fast and then UP like a 10 foot wall. Also I'm pretty sure some live on the top of our chapel so hopefully the iguanas leave me in peace

Jeffrey is a cat that Elder Pano and I found on our way home. He listened to commands in Spanish and followed us for like 15 minutes. We haven't seen him since though and Elder Pano and I are very sad about it.

I love you all and hope you are doing so well! Being a missionary is the best and I am so grateful to be here!!
Love Elder Lacey
