Hey Everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well!

These last two weeks have been absolutely incredible!

Last week we were working a ton and it was so special!  We saw a ton of miracles and I know the Lord blesses us when we are diligent and obedient!  Last Sunday we were visiting a family and one of their daughters just moved back in with them and has been coming to church.  She didn't seem that interested though. But we were teaching her brothers girlfriend as well and she loved what we taught and ever since then she started progressing super fast!  Last Sunday we set a baptismal date and she was baptized on Saturday!!  It was such an incredibly special day!  Something so special to hear as a missionary is the testimony of someone you taught!  The spirit was so strong and I am so grateful the Lord blessed us with that special experience!

I am so extremely grateful for this restored Gospel we were talking with a man about the Restauration and he basically said even if God told him what we shared was true he wouldn't change his traditions.  It was sad to hear that but we hope one day his heart will change.

It is hard to describe and express all the special things that happen during the week there are definitely hard times for sure when everyone rejects us and we have to walk a ton because all of our appointments fell through but the good moments are so much more important in comparison.  I love this gospel!

Also we ate rabbit and it was pretty delicious 

Blessings of the Fast

This was such an incredible week!  So to start off.  Last week all the members of Mexico fasted for rain because Mexico has been in a drought.  And it has rained for the past week everyday!!  It has been so cool to see!

For the past like 10 months our mission has been fasting everyday.  So everyday a different area in the mission is fasting and when one finishes the other starts.  We fast for 3 things in specific.  1. That we can find new people to teach 2. Especially that we can find families.  3.  That we can have a baptismal service every week.

So the day we were fasting was super crazy.  We had a ton of lessons and it started pouring rain.  But we saw so many miracles!  So first we found a complete family like we were fasting for!  We were able to put 2 baptismal dates and now we have a baptism lined up for every week of this transfer!  Also because it was raining a member saw us and gave us a ride and then after when we were going to a different place a random taxi gave us a ride for free!  We have seen so much miracles!

We have also had more lessons in this week then we have had in thre rest of our mission!  It was such a special week and we are so happy!

If you are feel like you are waiting on something in specific I invite you to fast!  It brings miracles!

I love this gospel so much and I know with all my heart that God blesses us when we do our part and even if we don't see the blessings right away he always does!

Birthday Celebration!

Hey Everyone!  I hope you are all doing so well!

This week was really good!  We helped a family come back to church and their 8 year old son got baptized and one of them has a calling now so that was awesome!

All of the members of the Church in México were fasting yesterday and one of the reasons for the fast was for rain.  We finished the fast and while we were eating it started raining do that was so special!!

I am starting to realize more and more just how much I love teaching the gospel!  I love it when people can see things in a different light or I can help them relate a story from the scriptures in their life.  I absolutely love it!

Today we went to the center of Oaxaca and found some cool things and went into a few big catholic churches so that was fun!

Thank you for your Birthday wishes!  We had a lesson planned on my birthday and they surprised me and got me a cake and that was really nice!  It was a great day!

Birthday Breakfast!

Howdy!!  I hope everyone is doing well!

This week was good!  We had a baptism and learned a lot!

So we got out of Quarantine because we felt better and we got everything ready for the baptism.  Everything was going well until we ran out of water.  The font was at like knee level.  So we were considering our options 

1.  We could baptism in the knee depth water and it would just be a little awkward 

2.  Or we could call a truck that has water that would fill up the font directly.

We decided to do the truck option but we were waiting for the truck for like an hour because it got pulled over by the police 

So that was stressful but everything ended up going well!  The baptism was on Wednesday and on Saturday the girl we baptized got to go to the temple to do baptisms!!

Something Elder Chávez and I have realized is that some families have a very special feeling and spirit in their home.  It reminds us of our own families.  We love being in home like these because the spirit is there.  We made the connection that all of these families have a strong testimony of the temple and go as often as they can.  I would like to Invite you to make it one of your highest priorities to go to the temple.  I haven't been in a long time and can't wait until I can go again.  So those of you that can enjoy it!

We had a few absolutely amazing lessons this week and we have some people who are progressing very well!

We also ate a supper yummy breakfast today for my birthday tomorrow!  It was so good!!
