We were talking with a family and then a mango came flying through the roof. So that was surprising to say the least.

It's mango season so lots of mangos are falling, we're going to make some mango juice and mango Popsicles so we're pretty excited for that!
This week was great! We have some people who are progressing well and we are excited for the future! President told us that all of the mission is going to start being in areas longer so I think I have awhile more here in Pochutla which I am so excited for!
At first it was tough because it was so difficult from El Tule and it was super hot but now I love the members here in Pochutla and I know there are people here who are ready to hear the restored gospel!
I got the covid booster shot this week and it kinda killed me! I didn't sleep well that night because I had a fever but after that I was good to go!
I was thinking a lot this week about the word remember. I think it is a very powerful word. In the Book of Mormon we can see an example of this when in the Book of Helaman two brothers, Nephi and Lehi remember the words their father told them.
" 12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."
I absolutely love this scripture and I think it can apply to all of us. We should always remember our Savior and the sacred moments we have had that confirm the truthfulness of His gospel. I think one of the most powerful tools the adversary has is to try and have us forget the sacred and testimony building experiences we have had. If you feel like you are in one of these moments where you may feel in a spiritual drought of sorts, I invite you to look back and remember the moments you have had. I Invite you to remember the times when you knew with certainty that this was the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I promise it will bring you joy and peace.
On the other side of remembrance maybe there are things that you don't want to remember. I would like to invite you to remember this promise from the Savior.
"42 Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more"
I love that promise from the Lord! Always remembered that you have a personal Savior who loves you!
